Fleet Operations Consultant

The Fleet Operations Consultant will play a crucial role in advising small and mid-sized trucking companies on optimizing their vehicle fleets. This role involves delivering operational assessments, maintenance planning, and regulatory compliance strategies based on telematics data and maintenance histories. The consultant will provide tailored solutions, reduce downtime, improve compliance with National Safety Code (NSC) and Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) standards, and ensure long-term cost efficiency for clients. This position requires a combination of industry expertise, client-facing advisory skills, and the ability to analyze fleet data to create actionable business intelligence.

    Maintenance Program Coordinator

    The Maintenance Program Coordinator is responsible for designing and overseeing custom preventative maintenance schedules for small and mid-sized trucking fleets. The coordinator will work closely with third-party platforms such as Fleetio and Whip Around to track vehicle diagnostics and usage, ensuring compliance with National Safety Code (NSC) and Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) standards. This role also includes coordinating with service vendors, tracking job completion statuses, and assisting clients with onboarding. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for managing maintenance schedules and resolving conflicts efficiently.

    Emergency Repair Coordination Specialist

    The Emergency Repair Coordination Specialist will manage roadside repair coordination activities for clients experiencing breakdowns. This role involves dispatching appropriate repair vendors, tracking service progress in real-time, and maintaining digital service logs for audit and compliance purposes. The specialist will communicate directly with fleet drivers, roadside technicians, and vendor teams to ensure the timely resolution of issues. This position requires quick decision-making, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of fleet operations and emergency protocols to ensure smooth service delivery.

      Technology Integration Specialist

      The Technology Integration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring seamless integrations between RoadRelay Truck Care’s third-party fleet management systems and its centralized digital dashboard. This role involves configuring APIs, troubleshooting system errors, and ensuring data synchronization between platforms such as Fleetio, Samsara, Geotab, and others. The specialist will also collaborate with internal teams to implement new features, test system updates, and maintain reliable integrations that support compliance monitoring, maintenance scheduling, and analytics collection for clients.

      Fleet Analytics and Reporting Analyst

      The Fleet Analytics and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for collecting and analyzing large-scale fleet data from telematics platforms and digital maintenance logs. The analyst will generate actionable insights related to fuel consumption, idle time, vehicle reliability, and cost-per-mile using advanced data science techniques. By developing dashboards and client-facing reports, the analyst will help fleet operators optimize their operations, improve performance, and reduce costs. This position requires expertise in data analytics, telematics platforms, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies.

        Field Inspection and Audit Technician

        The Field Inspection and Audit Technician will conduct on-site inspections and audits of commercial fleet vehicles, ensuring they meet National Safety Code (NSC) and Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) standards. This role involves reviewing telematics data, service records, and performing mechanical assessments to identify issues related to safety, wear, and non-compliance. The technician will work closely with consultants and coordinators to translate inspection findings into actionable plans, supporting proactive maintenance and improving fleet performance.

        Driver

        The Driver at the RoadRelay Truck Care will be responsible for transporting tools, equipment, and personnel to client locations to support on-site maintenance and emergency repair services. This role involves conducting daily vehicle inspections, maintaining trip and fuel logs, and assisting with the delivery of heavy-duty service equipment. The driver will also ensure that vehicles are operating safely and efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of the fleet services and playing a key role in minimizing service delays and optimizing routing.

          Support Laborer

          The Support Laborer will assist in the day-to-day delivery of mobile fleet services by preparing service vehicles, organizing tools, and supporting technicians with maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include setting up and tearing down mobile maintenance stations, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and assisting with light field tasks such as documenting vehicle details and staging vehicles for audits. This role also involves helping maintain equipment, warehouse inventory, and organizing service kits, ensuring that all tools and supplies are ready for field operations.
